Long time clients of TCC wanted to refresh the look of their house by having a full exterior paint job done to boost the color saturation of the siding and the shutters. We have had a working relationship with these homeowners since 2014 and have completed several other projects for them including interior painting and carpentry jobs.
Our Process:Â
This Lexington home was being updated with a full exterior paint job to give it a clean and classic finish. The house was hand scrubbed on all sides with bleach and jomax to remove excess dirt and paint which was then followed by all exterior glass being cleaned as well. We did an extensive carpentry inspection to make sure there were no repairs that needed to be made before the painting began. We replaced four corner boards cut to seam using composite instead of wood, which will have a much longer lasting effect. The siding, trim, downspouts, garage doors and exterior doors were all scraped, feather sanded and spot primed before any paint was added into the mix. The house was painted with a classic color, Royal Silk, which contrasted nicely with the newly painted shutters in Black Forest Green.

The review, planning, and painting process were pleasant and organized. I appreciated the detail and focus on long-term improvements to the house's exterior. The crew did a fantastic job prepping, painting, repairing, and cleaning up. The crew leaders were professional and very nice to deal with.
Due to extensive ice dam damage, replaced and painted walls and ceilings throughout the house. Replaced kitchen flooring, countertops and tile backsplash. Also, installed recessed lighting and pendants. Bryan and the entire crew were very professional, courteous and prompt from estimate through job completion. Communication with Bryan Powell was excellent. He was especially helpful in dealing with the Insurance Co. We are very please with the results and would highly recommend them. We plan to have the Curren Co paint the exterior of our house this upcoming Spring.
I just want you to know that Tiago and his crew did a wonderful job. Monday to Friday last week, they worked hard (morning to evening) to finish the exterior painting. Tiago himself finished our master bathroom painting on Friday. The result is excellent! We couldn’t be more happier that we chose Tom Curren and you sent us Tiago.
